Free Creative Economy Coaching to 10 Somerset Visual Artists

New Leaf Life Design is able to offer 10 visual artists in Somerset 5 sessions of free business coaching starting in November 2011. This has been made possible thanks to Somerset County Council 50% match funding through the Creative Industries Development Fund.

The Project will recruit 10 visual artists who are sole traders / small businesses. An application process will ensure that all participants are committed to sustainable business development. Priority will be given to applicants who have not benefitted from training and business development initiatives previously offered for the creative sector in Somerset. These participants will be visual artists sole traders but will not exclude applications from sole traders working in the creative sector.

Becky Wright Coach for New Leaf Life Design said, “We are delighted to be offer ten Somerset Visual Artists this unique offer. They will not only receive five sessions of coaching but a half day of one to one support with social media and the opportunity to form part of a creative nexus group. The coaching aims to develop a stronger sustainable business model. This in turn develops a competitive advantage by creating the conditions for growth in the creative sector.”

All applications must be received by 12 noon on 21st October 2011
