Last night the New Leaf Associates met for our first team gathering. We now have counsellors covering Wiveliscombe ( Helena Trump), Wellington ( Angela Mc Cormack), Bristol and Glastonbury ( Stephanie Groves), Kingston St Mary ( Benjamin Ellis) and Taunton ( Jan Walker and myself). It was so lovely to bring the team togther and talk about how we move forwards with the New Leaf vision. Sue Burton from Rumwell Hall Red Field Kitchens created some lovely food for us to enjoy. We are aiming at New Leaf to recruit a Minehead counsellor and Chard / Yeovil so we will be able to cover most of Somerset.
I had to have a moment when I saw everyone together to reflect on how things have grown at New Leaf since its humble beginnings back in 1992. It is our aim that as a team we develop a mindful business so Associates develop a strong core of expertise at the centre of New Leaf by encouraging interdependence as practitioners through sharing skills and knowledge. I really want the Associates to contribute their views to steer the business so that how we function as a business is congruent with how the client receives the service. This I believe will enable us to remain healthy and authentic as a company and team.
I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful team.
