Becky Wright Motivational Speaker

Becky is an accomplished and highly regarded motivational speaker who enhances wellbeing by using a unique form of coaching called Life Design, which integrates counselling and coaching. She delivers a range of engaging motivational and educational presentations, at national conferences, and to SMEs and local groups. She is a senior accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and a full member of the Association for Coaching.


Becky has proven abilities in enhancing productivity and creativity in the workplace and optimising wellness through a range of talks including Managing Change and Transition, Developing Emotional Resilience, Managing Stress, Managing People More Effectively, Developing Leadership Skills and Stimulating Creative Thinking.

She is the Founder and Director of New Leaf Life Design, a company she established in 1992, which has developed an excellent reputation as a compassionate and supportive provider of coaching and counselling services, committed to helping individuals and businesses grow and flourish. An advocate of corporate social responsibility, Becky actively engages the community and supports a greener environment through innovative projects and activities.

A published researcher, she holds an MSc in Counselling Research and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, and has been featured in Cosmopolitan and psychology magazines. She has won the Pavilion Publishing Innovation in Training Award, the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Fellowship Award and achieved Finalist in Taunton Deane Business Awards, and Cosmopolitan and House of Fraser Woman of Achievement in Education Award.

Knowing Yourself And Detoxing Your Mind

 Our minds are cluttered; we spend all our time going through a checklist of things to do. How about taking time out to learn to use your mind more efficiently; it is our most powerful asset, both in the work place and at home?
This talk will offer practical exercises for both detoxing the mind and starting to develop the mindful awareness central to getting to know yourself better, and making a start on the life redesign process.

Developing Self-Confidence

Life Design is a process which enables the participant to start planning the life they want to create. Often our block to this is a lack of self confidence and self belief.
It’s also true to say that self confidence can also be described as the way that we project ourselves to the outside world. We don’t have to truly feel confident in our abilities, looks or capabilities in order to appear confident to others. Many people can portray an image to others of complete confidence while shaking with fear on the inside. This is an often used protection method used by many to cover up for a lack of self-esteem or other feelings about themselves that they would rather not acknowledge or show.
This workshop enables us to explore self confidence. Self discovery and self acceptance is the only permanent and profound way of overcoming low self-esteem.  We will do this by exploring keys to becoming more self confident.

Developing Real Happiness

 The elusive concept of work-life balance does not exist. Balance is not the goal, nor the pathway to happiness. I like the word integration much better. It’s about work and family, but also taking care of yourself and finding your own way that enables you to rethink, restore, create, grow and achieve without burnout, without decimating your health and without neglecting your personal life.
We will explore happiness and study this unusual concept. We will embark on a journey of getting to know ourselves more fully on this exciting journey because the resulting awareness helps to make sense of this crazy, beautiful and intriguing life.

Bee Happy one hour of Stress Management 

 This is a one-hour interactive workshop aims to explore the following:
  • The cost of ignoring stress
  • How to recognise stress in yourself and others
  • Developing self confidence
  • Anxiety and stress management techniques.
  • Life redesign
The purpose of this session is to give you a general awareness of how to recognise stress in yourself and others and to impart skills in how to deal with this. There will be practical techniques in stress and anxiety management and an opportunity to explore how to develop your self confidence to help with a future life redesign.
