Benjamin’s training goes by the name of Psychosynthesis which offers a psychological approach within a ‘spiritual’ context. Psychosynthesis draws on a range of techniques to suit the individual. The following, however, are particularly true of Psychosynthesis: it places value on the imagination, in order to help us contact and realise our inner strengths and resources; it emphasises the will and self-determination so that we can shape and direct our lives; it also stresses the importance of an appreciation of beauty, the harnessing of anger, the awakening of intuition and a right relation to pain.
In addition to discussion, clients occasionally choose to use drawing, writing or visualisation to aid the process. Benjamin works from his base in Kingston St Mary.
“I spent 6 weeks with Benjamin. Within that short period of time I can say that my life has changed for the better. Ben helped me tackle some problems with an entirely differant approach. I found it easy to communicate and ‘spill the beans’ with a perfect stranger, which is very uncharacteristic of me.”
