Working with Anger and Stress
We can all experience different levels of Anger and Stress, depending on the circumstances and situations in which we find ourselves. But how we manage this anger and stress varies from person to person – many people are not able to maintain control and this leads to other problems for both the individual concerned and other people around them.
New Leaf offers counselling for men and women who have difficulty managing anger or managing stress. This is however not an anger management service.

This type of individual counselling gives you the chance to talk about the reasons for the stress within a confidential and safe environment. New Leaf will then help you and provide you with the support to help work with your anger and reduce the stress in your life.
You can attend a one-off initial counselling session to meet the therapist. This gives you the chance to decide if what we offer is going to be right for you. You will have an opportunity to talk through your problems associated with your anger and we will show you how these issues will be explored if you decide to come for further therapy. We do not provide court reports and are unable to work with perpetrators of Domestic Violence – this work is delivered by Make the Change Programme 01823 282106
