Judith Gentry

Judith Gentry has a plural career working as an integrative counsellor, Business Coach and Retail Consultant. She has a Diploma in Counselling and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Reflective Clinical Practice (1st class). She also holds a Certificate in Online Counselling, enabling her to work professionally and safely by Instant Messaging (with or without webcam) and e mail.

Judiths “first career” was in Retail. She held the post of Head of Service & Services at Debenhams PLC, followed in 2004 by a period as a retail consultant. Her consultancy customers include John Lewis; House of Fraser; and Harrods in the UK, and Department stores in Denmark and Cyprus.

Judith was awarded the Queens Award for Innovation in 2001 linked to her work at Debenhams.

In coaching, Judith has a particular interest in assisting new commercial ventures, both established names and start ups.

She qualified as a counsellor in 2008 and established her private practice. She held the post of Clinical Lead at Retail Trust, the principal charity of the retail sector until March 2012.

Judith builds a bespoke programme for each and every client be it an individual, a couple or a group. She describes the purpose of her work as “to help you thrive, and go forward in the direction of your dreams”.

She offers a confidential counseling service in a relaxed, private environment. Judith is a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and bound by its Ethical framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Judith will be offering New Leaf counselling in Bideford, Tiverton and South Molton.
