Friday, 6th February at 10.30am – Knowing Yourself and Detoxing Your Mind
Our minds are cluttered; we spend all our time going through a checklist of things to do. How about taking time out to learn to use your mind more efficiently – it is our most powerful asset, both in the work place and at home.
This interactive talk will offer practical exercises for both detoxing the mind and starting to develop the mindful awareness central to getting to know yourself better, and making a start on the life redesign process.
Friday, 6th March at 10.30am – Love and Developing Self-confidence
Self-esteem and self confidence is a term used in psychology to reflect a person’s overall emotional evaluation of his or her own worth. It is a judgment of oneself as well as an attitude toward the self. When you learn and understand more about love and relationships you can change the way you function, and increase your self confidence and self esteem. This in turn will affect relationships with partners, friends and work colleagues.
In this interactive talk we will explore these aspects more closely and look at ways to improve self confidence and create more balanced relationships.
Friday, 17th April at 10.30am – Developing Real Happiness
Resilience is the ability to withstand or recover from difficult situations. It includes our capacity to make the best of things, cope with stress and rise to the occasion. We can also become more skilful at noticing when things start to go off-course, giving ourselves the chance to rectify problems at an early stage.
This interactive talk offers skills and strategies that help our resilience grow. It will draw together earlier themes of mindful awareness, love and confidence as part of building and sustaining your personal resilience and help you grow and create a more sustainable life design for the future
