Two New Associate Coaches join New Leaf

New Leaf Life Design Coach Jeanette Western

Jeanette Western

April has given New Leaf two new Associate Coaches. Jeanette Western and Rosemary Sandham. Like myself all are therapist – coaches. This means we are all qualified counsellors before we became coaches.

We feel this integrated method of coaching means we can use our psychological experience and framework to help offer insights which may not be achieved by a business coach counterpart meaning we work in a more psychological way. We acknowledge that personal, and professional are deeply intertwined in the coaching conversation.

Jeanette Western will be working in Somerset with New Leaf.  For the last 11 years Jeanette has pursued a career as an Independent Consultant delivering development services such as providing training, undertaking human resource assignments, counselling, coaching and mediation to a large number of organisations.

Rosemary Sandham will be working in London delivering our Harley Street work and NHS coaching. Her coaching style is integrative, using a variety of coaching tools and models within a person centred framework, including reflective practice, awareness of the four intelligences; emotional, cognitive, physical and spiritual, mindfulness based approaches and working at both conscious and unconscious levels examining how beliefs and thinking can help or hinder and exploring what action may be needed to meet objectives.

Workplace Coach London I am delighted that we have two more talented associates joining us and we can now offer a full range of coaching, Life Coaching, Workplace Coaching and Executive Coaching in Somerset and London.

On 18th May I will be offering a talk in Taunton called Counselling and Coaching: A Collision or Collaboration?

In this talk I hope to explore the transition of moving from counsellor into coach and have offered for following description of the talk.

Personal Coaches have become a popular source of psychological support. Perhaps coaches are more comfortable than counsellors at seeing their services as a brand to market. Becky Wright is a psychotherapist who also has a thriving coaching practice, New Leaf Life Design. She offers a personal perspective on making the transition from counsellor to coach, the tensions and overlaps and how to develop your practice to encompass coaching which will not involve you having to become a guru of social media or indeed need to turn everything you do into a masterclass for others.

Venue: Taunton United Reform Church, Paul Street, Taunton, TA1 3PF. There is a church car park to the rear and the entrance to the church is from the parking area. Parking is also available in the public car park in Paul St. 7.30pm start
