French Fancy – Series 2 – Episode 3

In this episode I start to explore the challenges of self sufficiency when it comes to growing food. Not a skill that I’m particularly blessed with. Jon Guard explains what will be needed to make this a reality.

French Fancy - Series 2 - Episode 3 I start to talk about Deep Adaptation paper written by Professor Jem Bendell he’s a Professor of Sustainability Leadership his paper was never published by academic journals one of the reasons being the emotional impact it may have on its readers.

The area of the map which I found really fascinating is the part called Restoration. In this part it talks about reJon Guard Chain Saw-wilding landscapes, so they provide ecological benefits and changing diets to match the seasons so it asks the question what can we bring back to to help us with coming difficulties and tragedies. It talks about making our food more locally. we need to reconnect with the land and farmers are guardians of the land.

In this episode we talk about this journey and I make a start on vegetables for the mind along with a French Fancy.
