We provide what is effectively a mobile wellbeing centre. The business provides an appropriate, quiet space within your building and we supply a qualified therapist who coaches – a Wellness Coach – who will facilitate a number of back-to-back wellbeing sessions for your employees throughout the day … think of it as a wellbeing check-in or MOT.
Pop-up Wellbeing is an excellent approach to help create a culture in your workplace where mental health can be discussed openly without the taboos and prejudice that have historically been associated.
Each session lasts 30 minutes and your employees will need to have booked a session through your HR department. In the session they will be invited to explore healthy behaviour change, and identify where the change might be possible to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. Most people know what they need to do in order to become healthier, they just struggle to put the steps into practice particularly when under pressure at work and with a busy family and social life. Wellbeing coaches are supportive mentors helping the employee to avoid an escalation of issues that might lead to time off work.
The purpose of these sessions is to:
- Identify and be proactive with early signs of stress in your staff;
- Help employees recognise mental health issues and then help with coping strategies;
- Develop an open culture where participants feel able to discuss their problems and challenges;
- Learn tips and techniques to enhance wellbeing both professionally and personally;
- Gain support with forward life planning;
- Increase motivation for developing healthy behaviours (supporting weight-loss is a good example);
- Help employees develop emotional resilience;
- Support employees with change and transition.
